A-----From the bridge go north and/or left and travel Padre Blvd until
you see 'Ship-Shape' fine island wear and accessories on the right, (about 2 miles) on the left on the corner of Georgia

Q-----If we get hungry do you have something to eat besides chips?
A-----Yes! We have a 12" DiGiorno Pizza for $10.00. Good stuff!
Q-----Is it true that the Coral Reef Lounge has "FREE" meals on major
holidays?
A-----Yes this is true. The Reef even adds one. We have two (2) St.
Patty's Day celebration meals. One on February 17th Friday so our visiting
winter friends can enjoy it right before they head north. Then we have
the real celebration on March 17th Saturday on St. Patty's Day. We would love for
our Snowbirds to be here on the actual DAY, but they clear out before
March 17th because they are apparently afraid of "Spring Breakers" which
is one of the most fun times on the island. HA!
Q-----What are your business hours?
A-----We are open from 9:30 am until 2:00am. This is seven days a week.
Q-----Do you have entertainment? Yes! AND we have live performers too.
A-----We are the Karaoke Capital of South Padre Island seven nights a
week starting at 9:00pm until closing.

Q-----What goes on when the karaoke isn't going on?
A-----We have five televisions and whatever sport is going we have it
on. We also have the finest juke box on the island with all types of
popular nightclub selections. You can watch sports and tap to the music
all at the
same time while enjoying the beverage of your choice.
Q-----What type of crowd hangs out in the Reef?
A-----The friendliest people in Texas. It is a local hang out and a
winter Texan/snowbird hang out in the winter.
Q-----Does the owner Mr. Chris ever light up his cigar?
A-----NO! He only chews them.
Q-----Do you have a happy hour?
A-----YES! However, there is not happy hour time on weekends and
holidays!
Q-----Is this really the 'Green Bay Packers' Headquarters SOUTH?
A-----You betcha! Since we are this far south we kick it up a notch or
two.
Q------Is this really the Racing Capital of South Texas?
A-----YES! Every weekend. *Denny Bortko has been promoting racing ever
since he has moved to the island.
He has this urge to convert NASCAR fans to CART or INDY CAR RACING open
wheel racing.

goes on around this South Texas area.
Q-----Is there a good photographer on the island for weddings,
anniversaries or special occasions?

notice. They are very reasonable and the quality is supreme.
Weddings on the beach is the hot event. Book early if you are planning to get hitched! Call 956-371-3339 and ask for Jackie.
